The TOEIC® Test assesses a person's overall ability to communicate internationally in the workplaces of multinationals, from IT firms to hospitality. It is the most widely used General Business English Language Exam and is taken over 6 million times a year.

The TOEIC Test is

  1. a Paper & Pencil based at Public Test sessions

  2. also called the “TOEIC Listening & Reading Test”

  3. securely tested with an Official Score Certificate verified globally

  4. 200 multiple choice questions

  5. in 2 sections - Listening (45 mins) and Reading (75 mins)
    Note: A TOEIC Speaking and Writing test is available separately

The certificate is most commonly requested by employers in Japan, Korea, Taiwan & Thailand - and universities in France & Colombia.

Test Administrators at the Tasmanian College of English are accredited to administer the TOEIC® test and welcome all candidates to take the test at the campus on the official testing dates:

  4. BulletFriday 13th December (3 week gap)

Candidate Instructions

We will provide instructions when you apply for testing.
This will include time of test, how early to arrive, payment details, and other conditions.

Requirements

  1. Must not have sat TOEIC in the previous 28 days.

  2. Must provide a suitable form of identification, such as a passport
    (or passport copy with Tasmanian Driver’s license).

  3. Agree to the conditions set forth online at www.ets.org/toeic and/or Examinee Handbook.

Other Public Testing locations:

This is the only location in Tasmania for the TOEIC Public Listening and Reading Test.
The TOEIC is available worldwide - including New Zealand, Japan and other locations in Australia.
